LIFTED-CA Wildfire Moratorium – Gifford Fire – 8/11/2025

The CA wildfire moratorium for San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara counties is now lifted.  

This will impact BOP business only, not GL or PL.

A moratorium means no new business can be bound, nor will we accept any requests to increase limits or lower deductibles on existing business. Other endorsements should be reviewed in these areas and referred to underwriting with questions.  Renewal activity can continue with terms and conditions as expiring.
